The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Once again, Imus began an interview with an apology to Chris Wallace for not getting him on at the appointed time of 7:30, admitting it was unprofessional. "Being on your show reminds me of going to the dentist to get a route canal," Wallace began. "Because you always keep me waiting about ten minutes."
Chris Wallace Denise Austin, fitness guru, checked in with her old pal Imus today to talk about her latest book "Denise's Daily Dozen," where the number 12 is all people need to change their lives through exercise and healthy eating habits. "This is a commitment," she said of the program, which she follows herself.
Denise Austin Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi assured Imus that any weird noises on his end of the line were not those of an imprisoned three-year old child, but rather were coming from a puppy. "Nobody loves dogs more than I do," Imus assured his guest. "Or hates David Brooks more than I do."
Matt Taibbi Deirdre Imus and Lis Wiehl joined a grumpy Imus this morning to talk about marital communication issues, health care reform, and how four angry women glued some guy's wiener to his tummy. Wiehl, a FOX News legal analyst, does not drop the F-bomb around the house as Dierdre often does, but told Imus that whatever tongue-lashing he got last night was probably deserved.
Deirdre Imus, Lis Wiehl Judy Woodruff, senior correspondent on the newly-entitled PBS News Hour, insisted that it was with Jim Lehrer's blessing that his name was removed from the show's title. The move, said Woodruff, was an effort to identify more with PBS. "And to get rid of Jim," Imus supplied.
