The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Looking more like a member of the chorus line from "Guys & Dolls" than a respected businessman and former tough cop, Bo Dietl insisted today that President Obama listens to this program. Following Bo's appearance last week where he complained about banks not lending to small businesses, Obama announced plans to do just that.
Bo Dietl Lt. Col. Bill Cowen made his debut on "Imus in the Morning" today, and it was an interesting, informative spot. But why would Imus focus on that when he could instead kill his producers for not booking Cowan, a Fox News military analyst, sooner? Cowan, for one, was all smiles this morning, speaking eloquently on subjects like reversing Don't Ask Don't Tell, the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and his own time serving this country during the Vietnam War.
Sometimes Imus thinks about things other than himself, and such was the case during last week's State of the Union address when President Obama criticized the Supreme Court for a recent decision on campaign finance rules. "I thought, 'Man, I wish we could get Stuart Taylor on the phone,'" said Imus.
It was difficult to tell who was more disappointed this morning, Imus or Jim Nantz. Last time Nantz appeared on this show, just before the AFC Championship game, he had promised the I-Man he'd incorporate the words "Imus" and "Fox" into his broadcast on CBS. A man of his word, Nantz came through, weaving, "I must say, coming up on Fox..." into his play-by-play of the game.
Jim Nantz Imus welcomed Lanny Davis to his show this morning by declaring, "We didn't play any of his songs, and we're not going to." How's that for warmth? Davis, who was special counsel to President Bill Clinton, insisted that his song selections, some of which are Rodgers and Hammerstein tunes, were age-appropriate.
