The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Senator Chris Dodd, a Democrat representing the state of Connecticut, recently underwent surgery to treat his prostate cancer. He hopes Imus's course of treatment — eating habanera peppers and barking at the moon — works just as well.
Sports columnist, political observer, and Imus's pal, Mike Lupica, protested that he was not threatened by former Alaska Governor, and current jack-of-all-trades, Sarah Palin. "I think you are," Imus said. "I think you're in the fetal position up there in your little mansion in Connecticut."
Mike Lupica It was an interesting morning for Michael Graham, who compared Iran to a singing competition, presidents to ex-wives, and health care in Massachusetts to that of the former Soviet Republic. "We have a mini version of Obama-care up here," said Graham, hoarse from a cold (or from making out with Rielle Hunter, he joked). "The government wants the power to set prices for medical care because the costs keep going up so fast."
Michael Graham Imus did his best during today's interview with Rep. Peter King (R-NY) to uphold the mantra of this program. More on that later. He kicked things off by insulted King's taste in music, calling his five favorite songs "the worst selection" he has received so far. King whined that a person of his stature, status, good looks, and charm should be treated with a more "appropriate" level of respect.
So, how's New York Governor David Paterson doing? "For over two weeks now, I've been the subject of a number of outrageous rumors that have certainly distracted my ability to govern the state," he told Imus today, referring to an as-yet-unpublished New York Times profile that allegedly contains "bombshell" information that would force Paterson to resign.
