The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Imus was a late getting to Senator Joe Lieberman this morning, which the Senator should tolerate, considering, you know, Imus got him reelected in Connecticut in 2006. But Lieberman's memory was longer than that. "Let's not forget way back in 1989...you made me a well-known Senator," he said. "I'm forever grateful. I don't mind waiting a few seconds. Or minutes."
Neil Cavuto, who we think is Imus's boss at the Fox Business Network, quickly lost his patience this morning listening to the old cowboy complain that he did not want to grant an interview to any other Fox News hosts just because he had given one to Cavuto. "We're a team now," Cavuto explained, as though talking to a mental patient. He then passed along some rules for Fox Business employees on how to interact with Imus.
Neil Cavuto Imus was taken aback this morning when TIME Magazine's Mark Halperin appeared in person instead of on the phone. Which, it turns out, Imus would have preferred. But Halperin had his reasons for coming into the Fox Business Network studio. "There's free makeup, free donuts, and a chance to show my Blackberry to Charles," he said.
Mark Halperin Imus chatted today with his pal Tim McCarver, the former baseball player and current baseball analyst for Fox Sports, and admitted he had nothing better to do over the weekend than to watch an interview McCarver had done with Ricky Henderson. "He was a special guy, and a special player," McCarver said about Henderson, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this year. "He's 52 years old and could probably go out there and play as well as some of those guys."
Tim McCarver CBS News's Jeff Greenfield came to just one conclusion after listening to a clip of baseball analyst and former player Tim McCarver crooning in the style of Ol' Blue Eyes. "I like Frank Sinatra as a singer, and Tim McCarver as a baseball announcer," he said.
