Bo Dietl in Two Minutes
With the I-Man running hopelessly late on his first day back from hiatus, Bo Dietl was provided just under two minutes to make his point this morning. Lucky us.
Choosing to spend these minutes referring to the rotund New Jesey Governor Chris Christie as an “earth mover” might not have been Bo’s wisest move, since Christie was scheduled to appear with Imus next hour.
“You have the earth mover coming on your show this morning!” Bo said, and then endorsed Christie for President in 2012, even though he isn’t running. “He’s the most prolific guy that’s ever been elected. In the last six months he’s cleaned the most corrupted state up.”
Among Christie’s accomplishments, in Bo’s view, are combining public services and making them private, and going after Atlantic City and the unions.
“We came on board early on this one, Don,” said Bo, referring to Imus’s endorsement of Christie last fall, which many believe aided in his victory over Democratic Incumbent Jon Corzine. “And I’d like to come on first with you and support him against the trouble that’s in Washington right now.”
Bo continued, as only he can, “There’s not going to be a reelection—we’re going to have the earth mover as the head of the United States of America!”
To which Imus could only reply, “I’ll tell him that.”
