ESPN'S Ryan Ruocco
In addition, Ruocco works for YES Network, sharing play-by-play duties with veteran Ian Eagle on Brooklyn Nets telecasts. He was also a member of YES’ Nets broadcast team which won a 2014 New York Emmy Award for Best Live Sports Series. He earned a New York Emmy nomination in 2015 for his Nets work on YES. Ruocco also fills-in hosting and doing play-by-play on Yankees telecasts.
A native of New York, Ruocco is a 2008 grad of Fordham, majoring in communications. He was deeply involved in the school’s highly regarded radio station, WFUV, including hosting “One on One”, New York’s longest-running sports call-in show and provided play-by-play and color for numerous sports including basketball, football and baseball. Ruocco was honored by the school as the 2008 winner of its prestigious Marty Glickman Award, named for the legendary play-by-play announcer.
