KT McFarland
- “I Am Woman,” by Helen Reddy...why - it was a theme song of women's movement when I was in college in early 70's
- “Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring,” by JS Bach - preferably pipe organ version...why - I used to play this when I was a organist in high school
- “He shall feed his flock,” Handel's Messiah...why – I’ve always told my kids you have no right to criticize someone unless you're willing to do it better. I criticized the choir at my church one Christmas eve and they ragged me for it. The next Christmas eve I sang this solo.
- “Chariots of Fire” theme song...why - when I was at Pentagon in Reagan Administration I worked long hours and often got grief, but as one of the only women I never wanted to complain or show weakness. I used to play this on my radio going to and from work, and while I worked out at the Pentagon gym. It was my basic "suck it up" theme to myself.
- “Amazing Grace” any version...why - lifts me up - redemption theme
