The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
Professor Imus, as his esteemed guest Professor Debra Dickerson referred to him, was given a gift by one of the WABC salesmen this morning: a Chia Obama, which, when watered, grows green grass hair around a caricatured face of President Barack Obama.
Proving that honesty is maybe sometimes the best policy, Imus confessed to Bob Schieffer, host of CBS's Face The Nation, that he had not watched yesterday's edition of the show where Schieffer interviewed President Barack Obama. In fact, no member of the Imus in the Morning staff watched it. "I was taking kids to the airport, that's an all day deal," Imus said, referring to the first go-round of kids at the Imus Ranch. "Charles's TV was repossessed. Bernie was locked out of the house. It was Lou's birthday and he was still drunk."
Bob Schieffer Wacky ol’ Craig Crawford joined Imus today and said he was sorry to hear about the I-Man’s prostate cancer diagnosis. Yet Imus’s cautionary tale inspired Crawford, who blogs daily at CQPolitics.com, to find a primary care physician. "I used to go to the 7-11 doctor," he said. "I called them that just cause they were next door to the 7-11!"
Craig Crawford Democratic apologist-er, strategist-Paul Begala could not repeat on air the contents of a note he recently sent Imus, but assured his friend of one thing. "I don't know what your PSA is, but your piss and vinegar count is way up!" Begala said. "I'm not very worried."
Paul Begala Carl "One-Question" Jeffers checked in with Imus today and railed about health insurance, Obama's performance, and what he believe executives at AIG and elsewhere will do with their bonus money. Having recently discovered his own elevated PSA level, Jeffers would like to get a biopsy but is not sure his insurance will cover it. "As great as America is, that area is one where we fall short in comparison to other countries," he said about health care. "When they want treatment they come to America, but in terms of coverage and the process, we are surpassed."
